WEEE
The WEEE(Waste of electrical and electronic equipment) Directive provided for the creation of collection schemes where consumers return their WEEE free of charge. These schemes aim to increase the recycling of WEEE and/or re-use.
WEEE is a complex mixture of materials and components that because of their hazardous content, and if not properly managed, can cause major environmental and health problems. All our routers get WEEE certification and we encourage our customers to recycle our routers at the end of their life.
RoHS
RoHS is a product level compliance based on the European Union's Directive 2002/95/EC, the Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).
Products compliant with this directive do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exemptions. The restricted materials are hazardous to the environment and pollution landfills, and are dangerous in terms of occupational exposure during manufacturing and recycling. All our routers in the European market pass RoHS compliance. We make sure all our products are not harmful to our environment.
Recyclable packaging
Recyclable packaging is our main focus when doing the package design. All our packaging is made of materials that can be recycled and used again. We keep the packaging as simple as we can. Our products’ packaging embraces simplicity and utilizes the minimal materials required. It means very few additional materials and energy is required to manufacture. By extension, this reduces environmental impact and pollution.
